Coffee With Crayon

Today was another morning filled with great conversation. The full transcript can be downloaded in PDF Format.

There was a lot of talk today about Twitter and people’s reaction to it’s fast paced adoption rate over the last few weeks and how companies might be able to leverage it. We also discussed the new Clipmarks service. Got reactions to the forthcoming voice functionality in Second Life and finally had a good conversation about PlayStation Home and what it means for worlds such as Second Life.

As you can see, the attendees drive the conversation and you never know what is going to be talked about. I think we hit a peek of 35 today including a bunch of new faces which was great to see. Including a walking shake cup!

Hope to see you next Thursday.

Just wanted to let you know that after hearing about the Coffee With Crayon events, it took me quite a bit of clicking around to find the location. I'm assuming I've got it right, but don't want to pull up SL at work to confirm.

You might want to append future posts on Coffee With Crayon with a short blurb stating the where and when.

In the meantime, I need to find my avatar some flannel pajama bottoms and fuzzy slippers in time for next week.
  • More then likely you tried to go to the island when it was closed for a client meeting. Linden Lab does not allow for customized messages stating why people can not get to an island so if it is closed for any reason this happens.

    Sorry for the troubles.

    Hi,

First of all. I love the podcasts, blogs and books. Keep it up.

I tried to go to the crayon offices in SL but I got a message saying something like "you are not allowed here". Very strange. My SL name is Pops Papp. Any ideas why this happened?
  • I'll admit that as that was happening I was thinking to myself "man I hope this ends fast" and it did. I didn't want what is always a good and interesting conversation to be completely thrown off the rails.
  • I must sincerely apologize for my typo of the word "Twitter" which I think sparked a group violation of the terms of the PG sim. :)
