Have you ever been in a stage production? The rush of energy that fills backstage just before you start. Little things go wrong. Last minute fixes. Mayhem. Crazy times that no one will ever see because they are behind the curtain?
That is what makes any live event special in my eyes. The stuff that is never seen. Sure, we had some of that today at the crayon launch, but I would of had it any other way.
I feel very satisfied with the attendance and the overall flow of the event.
Had a moment of panic when my computer locked up and Second Life had to reboot right in the middle of it, but I kept going and talking and it was ok.
Many hours of hard work go into launching a company. A personal thank you to every member of the crayon team, the gang at Millions of Us, Linden Labs for creating this world in the first place and everyone else who helped me stay sane during all of this.
This picture shows the mingling afterwards. It took me this long to post because I wanted to make sure to talk to everyone that had questions.
Can I take a nap now? *grin*
